System Barrel Marketing
SOCAR TRADING’s parent company, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) markets 70-80% of Azerbaijan’s 1m bpd (barrel-per-day) oil production. SOCAR not only handles and exports crude volumes it is entitled to from its own upstream project participations, it is also markets the entire State share under Azerbaijan’s Production Sharing Agreements for the Republic.
